Lusito ladies brunch

This year’s Ladies Brunch was once again a huge success, with over 280 Ladies joining us for a social morning. This year’s brunch was the 15th one that Lusito has hosted. The theme – Denim & Diamonds, proved popular with the ladies arriving in their favourite Denims & all the bling.

Noemia Contente, Executive Committee Member welcomed all the ladies as well as the Ambassador of Portugal’s (S.A. Representative) wife Joana Carvalho and the Consulate General of Portugal’s (S.A. Representative) wife Ana Leonor Meireles, and thanked them for their continued support to the Lusito Association. Noemia Contente also gave a special mention of thanks to all the familiar faces of ladies from our community that work tirelessly within the Portuguese community supporting causes. Ladies were treated to a scrumptious brunch served by Simply Divine Catering.

Miguel Pregueiro was the emcee and entertainer for the morning and he got the ladies singing and dancing to his talented voice. Venessa Lisa Asvat, business woman, writer, singer, poet, was our guest speaker, and ladies enjoyed an upmarket fashion show, showcasing the latest trends, by Gilda’s Fashion.

Each lady was also spoilt with a gift to take home. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the following sponsors for making this day special and a success: AMKA, Mbongi Works, LÓreal, Netflorist, Simply Divine Catering, Venessa Lisa Asvat, Miguel Pregueiro, Gilda’s Fashion, African Butterfly, En-Route Luggage, Aramis

A BIG thank you to our sponsors for supporting this event and to all the Ladies for a wonderful morning.
